Hope Fitzgerald shares work and thoughts about a 25 year multi-hyphenate/slashie/Portfolio career in the creative industries with a focus on the challenges and benefits of choosing a career that foregrounds a work/life/family balance. Being constantly open to learning and self improvement, developing complementary skills, and the adaptability of applying those skills in the event of change are all part of wearing many hats in creative work.
Hope’s portfolio includes photography, filmmaking, painting, teaching, workshop facilitation, arts admin, and most recently bookbinding and design work. A brief talk and overview of Hope’s work progression will be followed by a Q&A.
