Tracey began experimenting with smaller works and painting with oils. Once she was able to get outdoors again\, she started taking photo graphs of the woodlands that she missed so much. Tracey has been creatin g digital compositions with these photographs\, detailing the barriers s he now faces both internally and externally. With humour\, the tangle of layers she shows in these works contain elements that figure large in h er new perspective of the world.\n\nTracey will talk about the creative potential offered through these digital works.\n\nJoin this event via Ev entbrite:\n\nhttps://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/158375267689\n\n \;\n\n& nbsp\; URL;VALUE=URI:https://showcase.roehampton.ac.uk/events/tracey-falcon-liv estreamed-talk/ UID:urn:uuid:dac6816f-9943-493a-87b2-2d05c7cfe018 STATUS:CONFIRMED ORGANIZER: DTSTAMP:20241122T104052Z DTSTART;TZID=Europe/London:20210616T143000 DTEND;TZID=Europe/London:20210616T153000 END:VEVENT BEGIN:VEVENT SUMMARY:Josh Appignanesi - Fiction Filmmaking - Live Interview + Q&A DESCRIPTION:HOW TO BE A FILMMAKER\n\nJoin writer/director Josh Appignane si for a discussion of filmmaking\, inspiration\, career path and the fi lm industry.  \n\nAppignanesi has worked with talent including John Ma lkovich\, David Tennant\, Tom Hiddleston\, Sarah Jessica Parker\, Omid D jalili\, Sara Kestelman\, Michelle Dockery\, and the artist Martin Creed .\n\nDirector of four features spanning fiction and documentary\, includ ing the David Baddiel-script The Infidel\, Appignanesi's widely acclaime d films have been in competition at top global festivals\, released wide ly in over 30 countries\, with prizes and nominations at BIFA\, London a nd Edinburgh Festivals. \n\nJoin in for this event using Eventbrite:\n\ nhttps://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/158375971795\n\n \; URL;VALUE=URI:https://showcase.roehampton.ac.uk/events/josh-appignanesi- live-interview-qa/ UID:urn:uuid:aea91bd1-0067-4dfc-988b-c45e20761270 STATUS:CONFIRMED ORGANIZER: DTSTAMP:20241122T104052Z DTSTART;TZID=Europe/London:20210617T160000 DTEND;TZID=Europe/London:20210617T170000 END:VEVENT BEGIN:VEVENT SUMMARY:Alexandra Sage - Documentary Filmmaking - Live Seminar + Q&A DESCRIPTION:A presentation around my work-in-progress\, East Side Storie s (working title)\, an exploration of the nature of home and belonging t hat uses a variety of techniques to visually capture elusive and shiftin g memories.
