This programme encourages students to step outside of their comfort zone, learning from a vast array of different perspectives and teaching approaches. The emphasis of Choreomundus is placed on cross-cultural development in the students’ studies, as well as breaking boundaries and making sense of the postcolonial world of the 21st century.
In line with this groundbreaking approach, the Choreomundus students’ works are being presented as part of the showcase. Events such as workshops and panels, reflect the unique experiences and worldviews the students have gained as part of their time on the course. These performances and events allow others to gain an insight into the impact of the Choreomundus programme; how it has shaped and aided the development of these students into their own artists and what they have learned as part of their time on the course.
