The University of Roehampton’s Drama, Theatre and Performance studies places an emphasis on historical and theoretical awareness, as well as deep-diving into a wide range of technical skills that benefit performers, script-writers, and producers alike. BA, MA and PHD students all benefit from a range of teaching approaches which promote a balance between modern and classical theatre, as well as experimental works; drawing on a range of perspectives that make up a rich syllabus which promotes innovative and culturally diverse approaches to theatre.

This Showcase celebrates this diverse syllabus through the broad range of works displayed in the following catalogue. Theatre is a continually expanding and innovating field, and the students displaying their works have worked tirelessly throughout their final year to build on the foundations that their degrees have given them and culminate into their own, developed artists, reflecting their own innovation and readiness to join this ever-changing world. Their employment of both the theoretical and technical knowledge that they have been taught throughout their degrees has helped mould them into the playwrights, script writers, performers and artists they have become during their time at Roehampton
