The student magazines are developed from concept to design to publication entirely by the students. They learn how to identify an audience, create a mission statement, develop editorial plans, execute on those plans, and produce an original journalistic product that caters to a specific demographic. They learn how to package their work with attractive, compelling designs. They create social media campaigns to engage with readers and to promote both the print and online editions of the titles. The magazines ultimately are the result of extensive research, interviews, imagination, innovation and a huge amount of teamwork.
